Each day, we put on clothes that do more than just cover up bodies. We choose clothes that represent our personalities, our moods, the times we live in, our ambitions and our desires. Who are the people behind the designs we wear every day? I guess some of these designers go unknown, yet they create such a lasting impression in our lives and make us stars while we exist. Some fashion designers have made fashion a huge industry, and whose work is as controversial, and as influential, as traditional art. Today I have decided to make some of these designers well known to you on a daily basis, I started out with trying to organise my wife’s fashion business, then I realised I could also organise that of many others. For months, I had to move my office to her small workshop just to understand how she managed her time, resources and delivery. Those few months gave me enough insights about the business of making wearables and to that effect, we started creating and developing “Tailorgang”
Honoured to announce the first official release of Tailorgang (www.tailorgang.io). Tailorgang will bring you closer to some of the best designers in the fashion industry. Are you a customer searching for that wonderful and best dress or suit tailored just for you? you can find all that inside tailorgang. The app lets you search for tailors and gang them. As the number of tailors, continue to grow on the platform, your gang list becomes important to keep your most cherished tailors closer to you. As a customer you can make a request to tailors, you can place a request after discussing privately with the tailor using our messaging system, the request allow us to track delivery and performance, also giving you the opportunity to rate a tailor based on each request you make. You can also chat and share discovery items with tailors. The overall goal of Tailorgang for users is the access to a variety of tailors who can always deliver unique clothing with an exceptional fashion sense.
For tailors, we are enabling an already existing economy, especially our local tailors. It is a well-known fact that most tailors do not keep records of their businesses, as a result, they end the year asking themselves what they did with their lives. We want to change all that by creating a tailors economy. Our advance enterprise resource planning application helps tailors who are interested in planning, keeping records and managing their businesses to improve results and feedback from users. Our first version requires an internet connection; subsequently we are working to provide a version that works both offline and online allowing tailors to use same tools without internet availability. Outside creating a customer and tailor relationship, enabling communication and providing a feedback system; we also created a tailor-tailor communication. The community of tailors provide a place where tailors can share and learn new things, providing a secured platform for Tailoring tutorials. What we have done is give value back to tailors for their hard work. Content theft is a major problem in the tutorials economy, video, images and other contents are well secured and protected and only students who paid the tailor for classes get to access the content. The content remain available and can always be assessed by students who have a license to do so.
When you sign up as a user, you have the option to become a tailor, when you become a tailor; we add some extra features to your mobile app and give you access to our web ERP. The user account stays entirely free, meaning you can always access tailors, discover their latest designs and get them to make you anything. For Tailors, new comers to the tailoring business enjoy a free starter account, which allows them to manage their early stage business, learn from other tailors and grow. Established tailors and designers with a sizable customer base signup as expert. The expert account go for 15 USD/Month and 120 USD/Year, this means that if you pay for 12 months, you get a discount of 60 USD. The expert account gives you unlimited access to Tailorgang including all future updates.
The Expert account gives you access to manage unlimited customers, use your own brand name and logo, generate invoices and receipts with you brand details. You also get to manage your HR(Staff and Payroll), Workspace (Customers, Classes, New Designs, Task, Styles and Measurement), Accounting (Invoices, Earnings, Expenses and Reports). Features coming under the same licenses within two months (Own a Store and sell your readymade clothing line, Manage unlimited Instagram accounts and enjoy post scheduling).
We have made mistakes especially figuring out the logic and how we intended users (customers) to interract with tailors and how tailors interracted with other tailors. We believe that as you get to appreciate our work and give us the necessary feedback, we will be glad to scale to your needs by releasing new versions every week. You may experience some bugs during usage, you can report such via our social media pages and we will be glad to release a fix.

I appreciate my lovely wife for coming up with that idea of a “Tailorgang”. I actually thought the name felt weird from the first day, but eventually, the name gave life to what we have built so far. I also want to appreciate our Season one and two Ambassadors (brands) (Allure by Nugi, Precious Apparel, Abaz de Royale, Sarah Couture and Bedazzled by Entee). I thank my entire family and friends for being very supportive of all my dreams and look forward to making you all proud of what we are achieving here at Nugi Technologies.
